Using a photo my friend captured at a Soft Vibrations event at Honey Fingers rooftop, I created an acrylic still life painting. I worked on the piece while attending painting classes at the Melbourne Studio of Art and upcycled a second hand picture frame to frame it. The mat board was sourced from Fantastic Framing, which I fitted at home with my framing tools. Matching the frame colour to the mat board has created a playful, modern and bold look and allowing the artwork to remain the central focus.
